As the date of 25 May 2018 is approaching, the day on which the EU regulation 2016/679 will come into application, more and more often one wonders what the current legislation will survive after the entry of the GDPR. The answer to this question is still far away but I would like to point out that the EU regulation 2016/679 provides in the Whereas n. 171 that “Commission decisions adopted and authorisations by supervisory authorities based on Directive 95/46/EC remain in force until amended, replaced or repealed” For the measures we have nothing like that. So, even if our authority in the years has issued some extremely important measures in various areas these are destined, to date and for how we know them today, not to remain in force. Then?
