Workshop “Applicazioni pratiche del GDPR” – 12 July Roma

The Global Cyber Security Center Foundation organizes in collaboration with Europrivacy and DLA Piper the workshop  “Applicazioni pratiche del GDPR”  that will be held in Rome on July 12.

With the new European Privacy Regulation, European organizations and all companies providing services or products to Union citizens, regardless of their geographic location, will have to face a revolution in the management of personal data. In fact, these organizations will have to respect new rights, principles and approaches to managing personal data and complete compliance activities and achieve regulatory compliance by May 2018. What practical tips? How to be prepared? The workshop will be a time for discussion on some concrete and operational aspects such as changes to privacy information and data retention period, identification of critical information and implementation of the PIA, consent to the processing of personal information, data portability in the banking sector.

More than 10 years of experiences in information security standard and compliance, security governance, training and awareness, risk management, security auditing and policy development in different sectors (public sector, telco, media, health, consumer, finance). She is participating in technical committee for reviewing and developing of ISO 27000x family standards and was a member of the OECD expert group for review of Security Guideline. Elena worked in Booz & Company in the Global Resilience practice and collaborated with University of l'Aquila. She was the Scientific Director of “Master in Cyber Security” by the Cyber Security District of Poste Italiane and is a professor at Master in Homeland Security organized by Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome.She is certified Lead Auditor ISO/IEC 27001, Lead Auditor ISO 22301, Lead Auditor CSA STAR and ISIPM Project Management.
