Sony Settles (Some Claims) Over Breach

Sony will pay up to US $8 million to settle claims against the company
over a breach that exposed employee information. The settlement calls
for a maximum of US $10,000 per person affected for losses incurred due
to identity theft; a maximum of US $1,000 per person for fraud
protection services. US $3.5 million is earmarked for legal fees.
